We often forget that trees move. Not much. Just enough to remind us that the world continues to breathe without us.
This work was born from a gaze directed upwards at the canopy. Lying under a tree, time seemed to disappear. The branches traced paths in the sky, while each leaf followed its own rhythm, carried by an almost invisible wind.
Watching them, I understood that nothing was rushed. Every movement had its place. Every silence, too.
Au rythme des feuilles (To the Rhythm of the Leaves) speaks of this different way of inhabiting time. Of those moments when we finally stop running to simply be present. Where the wind becomes music, and where the branches remind us that growing up doesn't always mean going faster.
