A tree. A bench. And no one.

Yet it's not an empty image. It's an invitation.

This bench isn't waiting by chance. It's waiting for me.

It's been there a long time, under this tree that has seen everything. The seasons. The silences. The people who passed by without stopping.

Me, I'm stopping.

No need to go far to escape. Sometimes all it takes is a bench, a tree, and deciding that time can slow down.

That's what this painting gives me. A place to put something heavy down. Without explanation. Without reason. Just because the bench is there, and the tree doesn't judge.

Escape has never been a question of distance. It's a question of perspective.

This painting is an original piece.

Once acquired, it simply leaves the studio to continue its journey elsewhere...
