A meadow. Flowers. And her.

Immense and silent.

Yet in reality, she is small. Tiny, even.

But on that day, it wasn't reality that painted. It was what I felt.

And in what I felt, she was immense. She owned the entire landscape.

That's what fascinates me about creation. It's not the world that decides what is great. It's my emotions.

They redistribute everything. They make an insect a guardian. A meadow, an infinite territory. A forgotten detail, a presence that overwhelms everything else.

Before this painting, something slows down within me. The noise recedes.

And I realize that beauty had not disappeared. I had just stopped feeling in the right place.
