We're taught three places: home, work, and the place where we meet others. But I'm missing a fourth. A place where I have no one to meet, except myself.
I don't know where it is. So I follow the wind. It always brings me back to the mountains, their stones, their fir trees, their hardships. Like Buck in The Call of the Wild, I'm drawn in by the nature I come from.
The fewer the paths, the more new ones my feet draw.
Then the sky turns pink. The colours blend into this gentle goodbye, the goodbye of a sun that doesn't promise to be there tomorrow. For once, I don't want to sit under the tree, but facing it. Facing this living painting.
I thought I was looking for one single place. My soul is too free to accept only one. The fourth place, in the end, is freedom.
